Welcome!

Jesus said to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all the nations.” As followers of Jesus we want to focus our attention this year as a congregation on this commission from our Lord to go out and make disciples. We need to take Jesus outside the church building and into our community. We have set up Bible reading groups at different places around Tuscaloosa. You can learn more about these reading groups in the “Bible Reading” tab above.

Counter Cultural

We live a society that seems to think the Bible has it backwards - this series is to set the record straight. Our goal and aim is to do what God has asked of us according to what is written in his word. As Christians we are called to be different - not conformed to the world, but transformed by the Word. (Romans 12.2). This series is aimed, not so we can stand still in our firmly held beliefs and traditions, but challenge how our notions compare to the notions that are truly Biblical. We hope you can join us for this series, and if not, please listen on line following this link!

“He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.”(Daily Reading, ESV)
