We Continue to Worship!

This pandemic has been a change of pace everywhere, including in our services. We have made certain changes to make sure that everyone stays as safe as possible and abiding by the orders by the state of Alabama.

  • We are doing only two services on Sundays at 9.40AM and 10.30AM and one on Wednesday at 7PM.
  • Everyone must wear a mask through the whole assembly, except the ones performing public worship in the pulpit.
  • We have eliminated the use of Lord Supper trays to prevent the spread on surfaces.
  • We exit the building as soon as possible so that we can be out in the open and not so close together.
  • We have rows taped off to encourage social distancing and we encourage families and households to sit together and not to mix.

If you are still uncomfrtable with coming to service, we still have classes on Zoom if you'd like to participate! Contact David Maxson to get the information @ davidcmaxson@gmail.com. We hope you can worship with us in person or virtually!

Zoom Classes

If you're stuck at home and are still looking for encouragement, we have that opperunity for you! Almost every day we have a class covering a different topic as well as the ability to Zoom into our services. While it isn't the same as being in person, there are still ways to grow and we hope you will grow with us! For more information, contact David Maxson ( davidcmaxson@gmail.com ) or Alexander Newman ( ajn.the.great@gmail.com ).

Facebook Live Sermon Series

Our elders have decided to take away the Sunday 9am service to limit exposure during this time, but we are going to keep teaching another lesson and hopefully it will encourage you. How would the first church handle a situation like the one we're in? That's what we're going to be looking at in this series at 5pm on Sundays on Facebook Live! It will be shared on our Facebook Page, so be sure to check it out!

Counter Cultural

We live a society that seems to think the Bible has it backwards - this series is to set the record straight. Our goal and aim is to do what God has asked of us according to what is written in his word. As Christians we are called to be different - not conformed to the world, but transformed by the Word. (Romans 12.2). This series is aimed, not so we can stand still in our firmly held beliefs and traditions, but challenge how our notions compare to the notions that are truly Biblical. We hope you can join us for this series, and if not, please listen on line following this link!
