"I Make All Things New"
Reading for December 31st: Revelation 20-22
Weekly reading for December 27-31: Revelation 17-22
And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new."
Revelation 21:5
This is the last day of 2015. Tomorrow, we turn the calendar. It's a new year. A new start. A clean slate. A fresh start.
But, is it really?
According to the calendar, tomorrow is something new. But does that really mean we get to start over? Psychologically, maybe, but in reality we'll have the same problems, habits, addictions, and debts on the first day of 2016 that we had on the last day of 2015.
There's really only one way to have a new start, or, there is only one Person who can make all things new. His name is Jesus. If you don't know him, you need to get to know him in 2016.
Can I help you in do that this year? Let us know how I can. Call or text at 770-842-2818 or email me at davidcmaxson@gmail.com.
Father, thank you for the new start we receive in Jesus Christ! Bless us in this new year with much growth and progress in the faith in him!
