Then King David went in and sat before the LORD and said, "Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?"
1 Chronicles 17:16
Can we all say AMEN?
Who am I? What is my house? Why should I be so blessed?
We spend enough of our time complaining about what we don't have. We complain about our finances. We complain about our jobs. We complain about our relationships. We complain about the weather.
We've spent enough time complaining. Why not spend a few moments today contemplating the blessings God has flooded your life with.
And then see if, like David, you don't sit down before God in utter amazement about how blessed you truly are?
Father, our cup runs over! Surely goodness and mercy shall pursue us all the days of our lives and we will dwell in your house forever!
